<h1>John Arajs</h1> 1943 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 11, 2009, at age 65. Artist, photographer and amateur astronomer, John’s 42 year career at CKCO-Television took him around the world. As a proud member of the community, he served on the Board of Directors for Kitchener-Waterloo Crime Stoppers, culminating with being honoured as their Volunteer of the Year. He will be dearly missed by all. Beloved husband of Anne for 33 years; loved father of Christopher (Becky) and David; dear brother of George (Vera) and Rita. Friends are invited to share their memories of John with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Linda Ashfield officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
