<h1>Ruth Reed</h1> RUTH REED Ruth Reed passed away on March 9, 2009 at the Lisaard House with her family by her side. Ruth is now reunited with her beloved husband Ken. Ruth’s memory will continue with her daughters Brenda, Debbie (Robert), Kim (Paul) and Lorna (Mike) and her grandchildren Jennifer (Saul), Jaime (Jason), Alec, Erin (Trevor), Ryan, Caitlin and Matthew. Dear to Ruth’s heart were her great-grandchildren Grayson, Lillie and Diego and she treasured every moment with her babies. Ruth is predeceased by her sister Betty Hartman and will be lovingly remembered by her sister Margaret Douglas and her nieces and nephews. Family and friends were integral to Ruth and her caring spirit drew people of all ages to her side. Ruth’s expressive and free-spirited personality was guaranteed to bring laughter to any occasion and she found joy in all aspects of life from travelling Europe with her husband, summers at the cottage, to dinner with friends. Her strength and tenacity had no bounds and inspired many. Those who knew her know that words alone cannot describe Ruth Reed—she defies description. Ruth’s family, friends and acquaintances will carry on her legacy of generosity, compassion and joie de vivre. The Reed family invites friends and family to celebrate Ruth's life at the Royal Room of the Golf's Steak House and Seafood, 598 Lancaster Street West, Kitchener from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2009.
