<h1>Lisa Marie Widmeyer</h1> 1959 – 2009 Following a brave and valiant lifetime struggle with cancer, Lisa passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the age of 49 years. Lisa Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Jim, her parents Cal and Garnice Bowyer of Kitchener, her siblings, Melody (Garry) Fitzgerald of Kitchener, Shari (Gil) Coates of Simcoe, Mark (Natalie) Bowyer of Kitchener, and Kellie (Laird) Jaques of Parry Sound as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered by her special friend Joyce (Ross) Musselman of Tavistock who in Lisa’s own words is “my sister for all intent and purposes”, her two aunts, Marguerite Bowyer and Emily Bowyer, her mother and father-in-law Helen and Vern Widmeyer, brother-in-law Paul Widmeyer and sister-in-law Sharon Widmeyer. Throughout her career, Lisa Marie had worked for Christian Horizons, Manulife and most recently at the Habitat for Humanity Head Office in Waterloo. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Team Six of Care Partners for the support and kindness shown to Lisa Marie and her family. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lisa Marie with her family during a visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, March 12, 2009, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Koinonia Christian Fellowship, 850 Sawmill Road, Bloomingdale on Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Memorial Cemetery, Kitchener.
