It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, in her 82nd year, on March 8, 2007.
Beloved wife of our late father Peter. Loving mother of Gary and wife Joan and Ken Lesyk, adored Grandmother to Lindsay, Sarah and Gordon, loving sister of Irene and Ruby.
Predeceased by her sister Dorothy and brothers Roy and Donald.
Born in Regina Saskatchewan having never forgotten her roots, it was that western grit and determination that enabled her to fight a very brave and courageous battle with cancer and respiratory illness.
A very special thank you to the wonderful staff and Moms dear friends at Bankside Terrace in Waterloo. She was so happy to be with all of you and loved being a member of the Bankside family. An additional and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Carolyn Campbell and Dr. Donna Ward for their incredible support and compassion during this difficult period.
We would also like to thank the very special and caring nurses at the Grand River Hospital (6D South)and the Grand River Cancer Centre in Kitchener. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
