<h1>Mildred Weber</h1> 1912 – 2007 Passed away, peacefully, in her 95th year, at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Monday, March 5, 2007. Wife of the late Harold Weber who predeceased her in 1991. Mother of Marilew and George Smart of Kitchener, Terry and Judy Weber of Bloomingdale, and Bonnie and Richard Pillon of Amherstburg. Grandma of Susan, Heather, Robin, Tim, Terry Jr., Cassandra, Victoria, Chris and Rick and their spouses as well as 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers-in-law Alex Macdonald, Earl Page and Ken Weber and sisters-in-law June Shields, Gladys Pfaff and Marie Weber as well as many nieces and nephews. The eldest and last survivor of her immediate family, she was predeceased by brothers George, Jack, Frank and Donald Shields and sisters Bessie Morton, Phyllis Page and Pat Macdonald. Mildred was a former telephone operator with Bell Telephone and with her husband owned and operated the former Rock-A-Bye Dy-Dee Service from 1947 to 1976. She was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener and involved in the Friendship Circle. She volunteered for the Alzheimer Society of K-W and enjoyed playing cards and going on outings with various seniors’ groups. A special thank you to the exceptional management, staff and residents of Countryside Retirement Home where Mildred made her home for four years. Also, thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of Trinity Village Care Centre. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Wednesday, March 7 from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. Liz Kuglin-Alyea officiating. Reception will immediately follow the service and precede the interment at Parkview Cemetery.
