<h1>Marilyn Nichols</h1> (nee Ostell) 1938 - 2007 Passed away, peacefully at K-W Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on March 4, 2007 at the age of 68 years. Loving mother to Brian (Cathy Moss), Cheryl Lace and Mark (Heather McNabb); grandmother to Richard and Danielle Moss, Curtis and Rachel Lace, and Collin Nichols; sister to Ruth Ostell; sister-in-law to Gloria Beling; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Boris N Nichols; her mother Rachel Ostell (Frey); her father Richard Ostell; her two brothers John and Ken Ostell; her sister Irene Collins and brother-in-law Owen (Bud) Collins. Marilyn was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 530) Ladies Auxilary for 40 years. In addition to working with the Ladies Auxiliary, Marilyn also loved to bowl, knit, crochet, sew and play bingo. At Marilyn’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marilyn with her family in a celebration of her life during a memorial reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Sunday March 11 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. A private interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date.
