<h1>Chuck Classen</h1> 1942-2010 It is with shock and great sadness that our family announces the sudden death of Chuck Classen at Hamilton General Hospital’s ICU on Tuesday, March 30,2010. Chuck leaves behind his wife of 42 years; Wendy, his children; Jeff &amp; his wife Vanessa, Micki &amp; her husband Sean, and grandchildren; Halia, Keely, and Jackson. He will be sadly missed by his sister Janette, brother-in-law Peter, nephews, Gordon and Mark and their families, his step-mother Pierrette, sister-in-law Lois, and his extended family. Chuck was predeceased by his mother Helen, and his father Ronald Classen. Chuck’s heart was always there to lend a helping hand and he will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues (Cheer’s bar gang, K.W. Optimists, WLU football department, his M&amp;M’s buddies, the old timer’s hockey gang, O.H.A.S.S.T.A. conference contacts and other teaching associates, and many, many others.) Special thanks to the members of the old timer’s hockey team who were with him on the week-end - especially Ken Wolfe, his long time pal. Chuck has touched so very many people over the years, that it would not be possible to mention everyone here. Many of you will hold his heart in your hearts, and that is a great comfort to those of us who knew him best. The funeral will be a private service for our family. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Chuck’s life and share some happy memories at a memorial gathering on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall – 110 Manitou Dr. in Kitchener.
