1944 - 2010
Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the age of 65 years.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Weber) for 45 years. Loved father of Karen Schooley and Joanne (Lee) Lance. Survived by his sister Linda (Carl) Scott of Cambridge.
Predeceased by his parents Mervyn and Florence Johnston, his brother Richard and parents-in-law Glen and Sarah Weber.
Russ drove transport as a committed employee of Koch Transport of Cambridge for 38 years, until his retirement in 2006. He was also a member of the Listowel Hunt Club for 35 years.
Honoring Russ personal wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Russ with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday April 1, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday April 3 at 11 a.m., Pastor Bonnie Schelter-Brown officiating. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
