Peacefully, on Monday, March 29, 2010 at home in New Hamburg, after a short illness, at the age of 87.
Loving husband of Lorraine (Wilhelm) and the late Marguerite (Baird). Devoted father of Claire (Dave) of Brampton, Jo-Ann (Lloyd) of Sauble Beach, and Bob (Sandra) of Acton. Dear Poppa to Paul (Amber), Matthew, Kimberly (James) and Kasandra (KC). Great Poppa to Logan.
Predeceased by brothers, Albert and Jack. Dearly missed by siblings, Ruth, Margaret, Beth, Ted, Vern, and Brian and their families. Fondly remembered by extended family, Norval (Carol) of St. Agatha, Carol (John) of New Hamburg along with their families, and by many friends.
Ken retired in 1983 after 36 years with Canadian General Electric in Guelph. He was always supportive and fair-minded, always putting family first, and living life to the fullest . . . we were truly blessed by his example.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Ken with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, April 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Cremation will follow with a private family interment at a later date.
