With family by his side, at St. Mary's General Hospital on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at the age of 75 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of Pat. Loving father of Chris Martin and his wife Elaine, Tim Martin, Amanda Weber, and Michele Harrison and her partner Wilf. Proud and loving grandfather of Andrew (Harrison), Eric and Sarah (Martin), Cameron and Matthew (Weber). Loyal and best walking pal to "Dougie" the Westie.
Predeceased by his mother Aileen Martin (nee McMonagal) and his father Hugh Robert Martin both of Northern Ireland.
Hugh will be fondly remembered by his good friends in Florida where he enjoyed many relaxing winters and also by his colleagues at the University of Waterloo where he was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering for 30 years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Hugh with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday March 30, 2008 where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room.
