Obituary of Harold Bretz

<h1>Harold Bretz</h1> 1932 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at Golden Years Nursing and Assisted Living Centre, Cambridge, on Monday, March 23, 2009 at the age of 76. Harold is survived by his sons Robert (Cheryl) and Michael Bretz, daughter Susan (Brian) Trento, daughter-in-law Linda Bretz, grandchildren, Davis Bretz, Jacob (Teraza) and Joseph Bretz, and Steven and Jennifer Trento as well as his great-granddaughter Emma. Harold will also be remembered by his brother-in-law Vernon Metzger, and former wife Judith Bretz and her partner Vic. Harold was predeceased by his parents Philip and Emma Bretz, his son Brian Bretz and his sister Rose Marie Metzger. Harold worked for his father and later for Harold Freure as a trim carpenter for many years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and sports fan. The funeral service will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10:30 am. A reception will follow in the fireside reception room of the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
