<h1>William Knipfel</h1> “Bill” 1943 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Nithview Home, New Hamburg on Monday, March 23, 2009, at the age of 65 years.. Sadly missed by wife, Catherine Knipfel (nee Scott); his son, Dean and his fiancée Lisa Polonoski; his son, Ryan and his wife Samantha; grandchildren, Brooke, David and Alexis; sister, Audrey Cook and his brother, Tom and his wife Joan and a large circle of extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Irene Knipfel (nee Horst) and brother-in-law, Walter Cook. Retired from J.M. Schneiders with 36 years of loyal service, Bill lived for family, friends, church, and travel. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during a visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, March 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, March 28 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. followed by the service to celebrate Bill’s life and faith at 11 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Richard Orlowski officiating. A reception to follow immediately after the service in the fireside reception room of the funeral home.
