<h1>Matilda Haid</h1> 1921-2009 Peacefully passed away with family at her side on March 21, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Haid and treasured mother of their 10 children: Robert, Marie (Gerry) Henhoeffer, Carl (Sandra), Raymond (Donna), Helen (Bruce) Golden, Barbara (Andy) Detzler, Brian (Lisa), Leonard (Marj), Joan (Len) Dietrich, Donny (Brenda). Our special angel will watch over her loving family including 30 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Always remembered by Joseph (Dianne) Strauss, Caroline (Leo) Hicknell, Alex Strauss, Luwina Kraemer, Anna Strauss. Predeceased by her parents Ottilia and Andrew Strauss and siblings Felix, Aurilia, Clements, Albert, Leander, and Linus. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Matilda at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 7 – 9 p.m.and Wednesday March 25, 2009 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 pm. Morning prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 10:15 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Agatha RC Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Fedy CR as Celebrant. Spring interment St. Agatha Cemetery. In Matilda’s memory, donations may be made to the St. Agatha RC Church Building Fund or Alzheimer’s Society.
