Passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care at the age of 90 years.
Loving mother of Marlene Coles, Grace Feeney and her husband Pat, Howard Hammond and his wife Jean, Carl Hammond, Jean Worsley and her husband Win. Dear grandmother of Denise (Joel) Hammond, Karen Feeney, Lynn (Jo) Hammond, Sarah (John) Hopkins and Shawn Feeney; great grandchildren Elizabeth and David Hopkins. Also survived by brothers Gerald (Lorraine), John (Aradith), Laverne (Joyce), Kenneth (Inez), Lyle (Joan), Wayne (Shirley), David (Lil) and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Harvey (1977), a son Glenn (1996), parents Edward George Hartung (1972) and Martha Anna (Schmidt) Hartung (1998); brother Delton and a sister Dorothy Reick.
Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Mildred during visitation on Thursday, March 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
The funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church 2 First St., Elmira on Friday March 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Graham Gaessler officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
