<h1>Arnold Barker</h1> March 8, 1933 – March 14, 2007 Arnold died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a brave struggle with cancer. Devoted husband to his wife, Kathleen (nee Speers), to whom he was married for 52 years. Also survived by his daughter, Mary Sauer and her husband Lee, his son, Doug Barker, and his grandchildren whom he dearly loved – Jennifer, Erin, Rick (Chantell), Aimee (Paul), Kaitlynn, Mykaela, Dominique and Maggie. Arnold leaves surviving his sister, Betty Eby (Don), sisters-in-law, Elsie Speers and Barbara Hall, and brothers-in-law, Al Hall and Jim Speers, nephews Jim (Donna) and David (Beth), and niece, Diane (Arnold). Predeceased by his parents, George and Maude Barker. A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of Arnold’s life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Doon Presbyterian Church, 35 Roos Street, Kitchener, with a luncheon to follow. In memory of Arnold, a donation may be made to the Doon Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund for the purposes of reparation/installation of the Church’s stained glass windows and can be arranged through the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Arnold, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning program by the funeral home.
