<h1>Ailsa Horsley</h1> Ailsa passed away with her husband Ken at her side, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, March 13, 2009. Ailsa is survived by Ken, her husband of 53 years; four sisters, Edie Bociek and husband John, Florence Brown and husband Jim, Barbara Reeve and husband John, and Audrey Price, all of England; two brothers, Arthur Beresford and wife Iverna and Tom Beresford and wife Jean, all of England; and 18 nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by her many friends. Predeceased by her sister, Renee in February, 2009. Along with her husband, Ailsa enjoyed hiking, cross-country skiing, cycling, gardening, and traveling. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and doing ceramics. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Bahl, Donna Holmes, Dr. Panjwani, Dr. Keleher, and the nurses of the chemo centre at Grand River Regional Cancer Centre. Also, thanks to Dr. Moolman and nurses on the 3rd floor of Freeport Health Centre. A memorial gathering to celebrate Ailsa’s life will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, April 3, 2009 from 2-4 pm. Cremation has taken place.
