Passed away, at the K W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday March 11, 2008 at the age of 66.
Cherished husband of Betty Ann Reimer (nee Poetker). Beloved son of Marie Reimer of Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo, and the late Nicholas Reimer. Loving father of Kevin and his wife Nicole of Waterloo, Michael and his wife Kyla of Pickering and Stefan and his wife Crystal of Hamilton. Survived by five most precious grandchildren, Jacob, Jasmine, Cole, Samuel and Mackenzie; sisters Caron Wishart (Graham) of Toronto and Joan Reimer (Ab Henshaw) of Elora; his nieces Lindsay and Chantelle Goman and nephew Brannon Goman. Sadly missed by his in-laws Peter and Elfrieda Poetker of Kitchener, Jake and Patricia Poetker of B.C., George and Patricia Poetker of Tavistock, Bernie and the late Donna Poetker of Waterloo Helena and the late Peter Rempel and Margaret and Gerry Hunter as well as many much loved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides his father Nicholas, Bill is predeceased by his parent in-laws Henry and Helena Poetker; and in-laws Henry and Ann Poetker and Helena and Peter Rempel.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday March 16, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at W-K United Mennonite Church, 15 George Street, Waterloo, on Monday March 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ed Janzen and Pastor Nancy Brubaker officiating. All are invited to remain at the church for a reception immediately following the service. A family interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau will take place at a later date.
