<h1>Mabel Koch</h1> (nee Wagner) 1924 – 2010 Went home to the Lord peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Grand River Hospital. Loving and devoted mother of Wayne and his wife Ann, Nancy Joslin and her husband David, Mary Schram, and Kathy Beecroft and her husband Scott. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Laurie (Alex), Krissy (Tim), Michelle, Joey, Justin, Jamie, Melanie, Jenny, and Timmy, and by great-granddaughter Maeve. Mabel will be truly missed by her brothers John (Dorothy) Wagner and Paul (Nancy) Wagner, and by sisters Beatrice Witzel, Verna Nelson, and Myrtle Capling and sister in law, Grace Koch, and brother in law, Allan Koch. Auntie Mabel was loved and cherished and will be greatly missed by all her nieces, nephews, “adopted family” and close friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Walter, and by her parents, Allan and Edith Wagner. A lifetime resident of the Waterloo area, Mabel was a retired employee of Wilfred Laurier University. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Waterloo. Mabel loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed summers at the cottage in Point Clark. Friends are invited to share memories of Mabel with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, March 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Mabel’s life and faith will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg following the reception.
