<h1>Elisabeth Mersch</h1> 1912-2009 Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, age 96 years. Loving wife of Hubert Mersch of Waterloo; dear mother of Barbara (Kenneth) Hammer of Edmonton, Erika Engel of Germany, Hans (Brenda) Knepper of Waterloo, Otto (Inga) Knepper, Dieter (Christa) Knepper all of Germany. Predeceased by a son-in-law Peter Engel of Germany. She will be sadly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elisabeth survived great hardship during the Second World War. Friends are invited to share their memories of Elisabeth during a memorial service at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the chapel at 3p.m. Rev. Bruce Sweet officiating. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment.
