Obituary of Janet Jantzi

<h1>Janet Jantzi</h1> 1948 - 2007 Passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her family, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday March 10, 2007, at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by her mother, Gertrude. Janet will be missed by her father, Frank Lewis; husband, Brent; children, Keith Ward, Karen Ward and her husband Terry Kennedy, as well as her grandchildren, Beverly, Kealey and Aibhlin. Janet will also be missed by her brothers, Keith and Chris Lewis, as well as special friend, Gerald Ward and numerous family members living in England. Born in South Wimbledon, England, Janet moved to Canada in 1974. She has lived in the region since then, living in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. She was involved in numerous organizations, including the New Hamburg Legion, where she was an associate member. Friends are invited to a memorial service, to celebrate Janet’s life, at Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at 11 a.m., with Marilyn Hollinger officiating. A reception will follow at the K-W Naval Association, 315 Weber Street North, Waterloo. Condolences for the family and donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the Breast Cancer Research and Education Fund (Ontario), may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445. In living memory of Janet, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
