Kathryn Pauline Elizabeth Betty Kroetsch passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. Marys General Hospital age 79 years.
Beloved wife of Cletus Kroetsch; dear mother of Cathy (Lorne) Harding, Mike (Sue) Kroetsch, Alan (Cathy) Kroetsch, Luann (Howie) Wallace and Lynn (Ramsay) Kroetsch.
Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrea, Laura, Dan (Maria), Ryan (Amber), Eric, Kelly and a great granddaughter Lily. Also survived by a sister Rosemary (Don) Schaaf, sisters and brothers-in-law, Agnes and Carl Voll, Mary-Ann Paolini, Albert and Edna, Sister Sharon SSND and Rev. Jerome Kroetsch C.R.
Predeceased by her parents Florence and Leo Schaus; sisters-in-law Sister Gertrude and Sister Bernice SSND and brother-in-law Bert Paolini.
Mrs. Kroetsch was a member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, the CWL, Waterloo Knights of Columbus Retirees and a volunteer at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, knitting for the Gift Shop.
Bettys family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo (today) Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo with Rev. Jerome Kroetsch C.R. as celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the interment, a reception will take place in the Fireside Reception Room of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
