<h1>Elisabeth Schwarz</h1> 1929 – 2009 Elisabeth Schwarz (nee Bierling), affectionately called ‘Lisi’, died peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital on June 7, 2009 at the age of 80. Elisabeth, who was born in Rottenbuch, Bavaria, came to Canada 56 years ago to marry Andreas, who survives her. She is survived also by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Magdalena (nee Reichl) and Andreas Bierling, siblings Magdalena Kirchner and Jakob Bierling. She is survived by sisters Angela Bierling and Anni Liebig, also of Bavaria. Elisabeth’s generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to all who knew her. She lived her life with integrity and bravery, struggling through many hardships. Friends are invited to share their memories of Elisabeth with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:30. Morning prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E. Waterloo with Rev. Tim Uniac C.R. as Celebrant. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. A reception will follow in the church Parish Hall.
