Erma passed away, peacefully, at Heritage House Nursing Home in St. Jacobs on Monday, June 4, 2007, in her 94th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Elvin Peter Drudge in 1999.
Loving mother of Keith (Laurene) of Waterloo, Dennis (Margaret) of St. Jacobs and Darlene (Brian) Reiner of Heidelberg; grandmother of Valerie and Scott, Timothy and Tamara, and Kristine; great-grandmother of Hunter, Willow, Eve, Jasmine, Ailish, Amelia, April and Bethany. She is survived by her sisters Edna Habermehl, Beatrice (Edward) Feick, Alice Weber and Doris (Bill) Ermel and sister-in-law Eileen Habermehl.
Besides her husband, Erma is predeceased by her sisters Vera (Eli) Bauman, Ada (Norman) Buehler and Ida Habermehl, brothers Clayton and Leonard Habermehl and brother-in-law Ralph Weber.
Erma and Elvin lived on Bridge Street in Lexington where they operated an apple and produce farm. Erma was a lifetime chartered member of the Bridgeport Institute and a longtime member of Erb Street Mennonite Church. Erma and Elvin later retired to Heidelberg.
The family will receive relatives and friends at The Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Wednesday, June 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to honour Ermas life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. A luncheon and a time to visit with the family will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment at Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery.

In living memory of Erma, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
