On Wednesday, June 30, 2010, Ryan Michael Butler passed away at home holding Amy's hands.
Much loved and sadly missed by his wife Amy, his three daughters, Allie, Ella, and Ryland, his parents Daniel and Julie Coughlin and brothers Kenneth, Scott and Daniel (Penny) Coughlin of London, ON. Also missed by his parents-in-law, Shirley and Alton Adair and brothers-in-law, Samuel, Joseph (Jessica), David and sister-in-law Laura (Jason) Adair, all of Sussex, NB.
Predeceased by his grandmother Iris Butler of London, ON.
Ryan graduated from Laurier High School in London, ON in 1995, obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2000 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2003. Ryan was employed by Tyco Thermal Controls as the Services Area Manager for Eastern Canada. Ryan loved football first as a player and later as a coach. Everyone who met Ryan recognized what a kind, caring and intelligent individual he was. Ryan had many lifelong friends whom he loved and who cherished him in return. His spirit lives on through his beloved daughters and wife.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Ryan with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, July 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Ryans life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 5 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception.
