After a long illness, Shirley Gerth (nee Kraft) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour at Grand River Hospital on June 30, 2010, at the age of 75 years.
Precious Mom to Leslie Ann (Brian) Webb, Susan (Gordon) Collins and Jim (Theresa) Gerth. Much loved Grandma of Ryan (Alison), Matthew and Jonathan Webb, Andrew and Christopher Collins and Kaya Gerth. Predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Robert Gerth (2007) and her parents, Wilson and Doris (nee Twamley) Kraft.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from 1- 1:45 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010, at the church before the service. The funeral service will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave., Kitchener, on Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Nolan Astley officiating. Interment will be held in Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. Following the interment, family and friends are invited back to the church for a reception.
