<h1>Ruby White</h1> (nee Fink) 1928 – 2007 Ruby passed away, peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at the age of 79. Born June 13, 1928 in Wellesley, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Susanna (Braun) Fink. Ruby married Jerome White in 1947 who predeceased her in 1991. They had three children, Dale White (wife Mary), Susan Lewis, and David White. She was proud of her two grandchildren Cheri Bilitz (husband Peter) and Jeffrey Lewis. She is survived by her sisters Doris Sittler and Shirley Pushelberg (husband Gordon). Predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Austin Fink and one sister Erma Brighton. Ruby opened her home to her many friends and relatives and will be sadly missed by all. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgeport where she was actively involved and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and participating in the ELW. Relatives and friends are invited to the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Wednesday, July 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service to celebrate Ruby’s life and faith will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 544 Bridgeport Rd. E., Kitchener on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11 a.m.. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall. Interment at Doon Presbyterian Cemetery, Mill Park Drive, Kitchener will follow the reception.
