Obituary of Irma Cristi

<h1>Irma Cristi</h1> 1911 – 2010 Dearest Omi peacefully passed away with her family by her side at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre in Waterloo on June 3, 2010 at the age of 99 years. Born in Valdivia, Chile on January 14, 1911, Omi married the love of her life on December 31, 1939. Omi and Opapa were happily married for 57 years. Upon Opapa’s death, Omi moved to Canada at the age of 89 to be with the rest of her family. Omi will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son Renato Cristi, daughter-in-law, Marcela Cristi, her grandchildren Paula Clancy (and husband Mike) and Carolina McBride (and husband Patrick), and great-grandchildren Dallas, Cristi, Stephanie, Tess, Ashley, Madison, Michael, David and Elle. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Renato Alfredo Cristi; her brother Paulo Becker; her parents, Wilhelm and Paula Becker; and her dear cousin Clarita Ledermann Sagner. The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo, on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 9 a.m., with Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Special thanks to Father Edward Sheridan and the nurses and staff at Columbia Forest for their loving care.
