Obituary of Patrick Roy

<h1>Patrick Roy</h1> 1963 – 2009 My brother was the bravest person I have ever known. He has fought battles that bigger men would have cowered at and he has done so without complaint. Typically Pat, with Mom and I at his side, quietly slipped away on June 3. Pat was predeceased by his Dad, Edward, and older brother Edward Francis. Left to mourn his passing, remember his life and laugh at his wickedly obtuse sense of humour are his Mom, Eleanor, and his sister, Mike, and missing his boy most of all, his dog Boo. My Mom and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped Pat these last few years, Drs. Hentschel, Fowlis and Kugler, Janice and Cindy who helped him volunteer at Sunnyside and especially Jose Aviles for his 7 years of genuine care and concern for my brother. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Ave , Kitchener , on Thursday June 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please give to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, or the Farley Foundation at the OVC in Guelph.
