<h1>Oswald "Ozzie" Haak</h1> 1921 – 2007 Passed away peacefully on June 3rd, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, in the presence of his two loving daughters. Ozzie was a loving and devoted husband for 56 years to Frieda, who resides at Sunnyside Home. Loving father to Doris Zettel, (Terry), and grandfather to Chad and Carole. Predeceased by his son-in-law David Zettel. Loving father to Ellen Adam, (John), grandfather to Michael (Maggie); Ozzie will be missed by his brothers Heinz (Alma), Ludwig (Herta), Adolf (Irmgart), and sisters Wanda (Erich), Olga (Raimund) and Adele (Josef). Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Tuesday, June 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to honour Oswald’s life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 11 am. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room. Private family interment at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnyside Home Foundation or Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated. Appreciation extended to Grand River Hospital 5th Floor nursing and his physicians for their exceptional care and support. In living memory of Ozzie, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
