<h1>Ellen May Kadel</h1> At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on June 29, 2007 in her 88th year. May, the only daughter of George and Ellen Fennell was predeceased by her husband, Ken and her daughter, Linda, as well as her brother, George who died in Italy in the Second World War. She was the loving mother of Larry of Guelph and Kathy Frederick of Kitchener and Grandmother of Tim Frederick of London. May is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Gordon (Joyce) of Montreal and David (Joan) of Cambridge and by her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. May was a person who had an abiding love for her family and for her friends. All of the people with whom she came in contact liked her and very often loved her. She was a Christian lady who lived each day of her life according to the Golden rule and this was reflected in her concern for others. May had a close circle of friends some of whom she met in her involvement with the Super 60’s Group of First Baptist Church in Waterloo and with the Merry Songsters of Rockway, a singing group which she very much enjoyed. Friends of May are invited to share their memories with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. The funeral service and committal service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home immediately following the service. Private interment will take place in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. The family appreciated the care and compassion shown to May by the doctors and nurses of the Integrated Stroke Unit of the Grand River Hospital. In lieu of flowers, condolences to the family and donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice can be arranged through the funeral home, 519.745.8445. In living memory of May, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
