<h1>Avery Kedmenecz</h1> 2004 – 2007 Avery peacefully passed away while surrounded by her family at Sick Children’s Hospital in Toronto on Wednesday June 27, 2007. In Avery’s short 2 year life, she touched more lives then many people touch in an entire lifetime. Her perseverance, determination and love carried her and her family through her courageous battle with cancer from the time of her diagnoses in October of 2006. She will be forever remembered and forever loved by her parents Mike and Jennifer (nee Meyer) Kedmenecz; her brother Ryan and new born sister Sydney. Avery will be held in the hearts of her grandparents Jerry and Margie Meyer and Agnes Kedmenecz, her great-grandmother Valaria Palocz, her aunts and uncles, Karen and her husband John Torossian, Sarah Meyer and Agnes Kedmenecz, her best friend nurse Chantelle as well as many relatives from the Meyer, Kedmenecz and Ocasio families. Friends are invited to share their memories of Avery with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where parish prayers will be held at 8:45 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes Street, Waterloo on Saturday June 30, 2007 at 10:30 am with Avery’s cousin, Father Peter Meyer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will he held in the church’s parish hall. A special thank you to the wonderful medical staff at McMaster Children’s Hospital and Sick Children’s Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to both Avery and her family.
