<h1>Florence DeBlock</h1> (nee Kieswetter) Passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, at the age of 101, formerly of St. Jacobs. Loving step-mother to Joseph (Irene) DeBlock, Tony (Mary Anne) DeBlock, Jeanne(Leo Schooley 2007) and George (Agnes) DeBlock, seven step-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Verna Dietrich and Anna Scheerer. Special Aunt to Marion Stashuk, Ralph Strauss, Eileen Calzavara and Mary Plunkett, and friend and caregiver, Cheryl Cassidy-Frey. Predeceased by her first husband, Otto Berges (1965), her second husband, Peter DeBlock (1993); and siblings, Laura Strauss, Edna Zuurhoud, Mary Fritz, Frances Vogel, Agnes Hummel, Walter, Alex and Norman Kieswetter, and Margaret Schuett. Florence retired from Seagram’s after 26 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Florence at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Clements RC Cemetery, St. Clements. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room at the funeral home.
