<h1>Donald "Don" Godden</h1> Died peacefully on the 26th day of June, 2010. Survived by his loving family: Dorothy (nee Downs), his wife of 44 years, and two sons: David (Robyn) of Norfolk, Virginia, and Paul (Michelle) of Squamish, British Columbia. Predeceased by his parents, Albert Edward Godden and Mabel Violet Adelaide Godden (nee Hooper), and by his two brothers, Alan Edward Godden and Geoffrey Herbert Godden, all of England. Don was born in England in 1930. He emigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled with his family in Waterloo in 1975 where he practiced law for 20 years before joining the Practice Advisory Service of the Law Society of Upper Canada where he completed the last 10 years of his professional career. A visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 2, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Following the memorial friends are invited to the Fireside Reception Room. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Way.
