<h1>Emily Petri</h1> EMILY PETRI (Kentel) July 16, 1929 – June 26, 2009 It has pleased the Lord to call Emily to rest in her 80th year. Lovingly remembered by her children Virginia (David) Windley, Carla (Jeff) Hartnell, Norman (Pauline) Petri, Karen (John) Campbell; her grandchildren Jenna and Brent; Graham, Emily and Connor; Jessica, Christian, and Hayden; Elliot, Andrew and Frances; brother Jack; and her many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Gathered together again joyously with her beloved husband, Helmut; parents Heinrich and Margaret (Hermann) Kentel; sister Marie; and grandniece Laura. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, June 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave., Kitchener, on Monday, June 29 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Roland Syens officiating, visitation one hour prior to the service in the church parlour. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. A private interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener at a later date.
