<h1>Mary "Betty" Cowell</h1> 1924 – 2008 Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener. Betty was the loving wife of the late John Cowell. Cherished mother of Judy and husband Doug Wendorf, Mary Jane and husband Steve Walewicz, and Doug Cowell. Loved grandmother of Sam Cowell and fiance Gina, Shane and partner Ashley, Todd and wife Karen, Geoff and finance Shannon, and Tim Wendorf, Marisha, and John Walwewicz. Great grandmother to Christa, Brent, Hannah, and Angelene. Dear sister in law to Betty Munn. Predeceased by brother Jack and Edward Munn. Betty was a charter member of Forest Hill United Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, June 27, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Marian Gills-McLeod officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
