<h1>Doris Scully</h1> nee Todd, RN, PHN, BA Fine Arts 1932 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, in the presence of family, after a rare, debilitating and ultimately painful disease at Lisaard House, Cambridge on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the age of 76 Eleanor worked for Toronto Public Health, and the Easter Seal/Crippled Children Society. She then set up and managed Wilfrid Laurier University nursing services in the 1960s and 70s. Member of the District Health Council, Chair of its Long-Term-Care Committee, active on several City of Waterloo committees and Chair of its UpTown Vision Committee. She was author of Early French Cookery. Artist in many media, and supporter of all arts, she lived her life with grace and generosity. Dearly beloved wife of Terence, mother of Eileen (Eric Duerrstein, Waterloo), David (Deborah Eggens, Osgoode/Ottawa), grandmother of Michael, Colin, Cassia and Leona Mae; survived by brother, Earl Todd and sister Margaret Hancock. The funeral service will be held at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 23 Water Street North, Kitchener, on Tuesday June 23 at 2 p.m. Visitation at the Church from 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
