Dear husband of Shirley (nee Simmons) of 52 years.
Loving father of Cindy Hickson (Dave), and Barbara Hall.
Proud Gramps of Jenny, Jeremy, and Jillian Hickson, and Brittney and Michael Hall.
Survived by brothers Fred of New Liskeard and Freeman of B.C.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mable Carter, and stepmother Irene Carter. Also predeceased by Brothers Jim of New Liskeard, Tom of Cambridge, and sisters Florence Sorenson of North Cobalt, and Gail Carter of Latchford.
Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday June 20, 2007 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Georges life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday June 21, 2007 at 1 pm, with Rev. Richard W. Hawley officiating. Cremation will follow.
