<h1>Rita Leis</h1> 1935 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, on June 14, 2009 at age 74. Beloved wife of Robert for 53 years; loving mother of Cheryl and Paul Charest, Wayne, Rick, and Colleen and Rob Soehner; much loved grandma of Jamie (Tina), Troy (Amanda), Leah, Hannah, Shauna, Greg, Robby, and Kailey; great-grandma of Aric, Ethan, Adrianne, Asha, and Avalee; dear sister of Helen Michaels, Florence Farwell, and Stasia Reid. Predeceased by a daughter, Linda Norman, and by six sisters and two brothers. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rita with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with Major Bill King officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
