<h1>Ruth Ostell</h1> 1925 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at the KW Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on Wednesday June 13, 2007. Ruth was born in Kitchener in 1925, a daughter of the late Richard Ostell and Rachel Ostell (Frey). Predeceased by her brothers John and Kenneth and sisters Irene Collins and Marilyn Nichols. Ruth served with the C.W.A.C. during WWII, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legions Branch 530 Waterloo Ladies Auxiliary, a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a retiree of Manulife. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. At Ruth’s request there will be no visitation or public service. A private family graveside service will be held in the garden of memory at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
