<h1>Edith Chalmers</h1> Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 98. Mrs. Chalmers taught at Elmwood School, one of the last one-room schools in Waterloo County. She worked many more years as a music consultant for the separate school board. Her lifelong love of music and her devotion to her family enriched all our lives. Beloved wife of Allan for 58 years (predeceased). Lovingly remembered by her children, Morley Chalmers, Ann and her husband Peter Boyd, Susan and her husband Henry Puderer and Christy Chalmers. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael and wife Barbara, Stephen, Lesley and husband Kevin, James and his wife Amélie, Allan and Laura, and great-grandchildren Andrew, Aidan, Margaret and William. Public memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 16, 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church, sanctuary. 74 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario. Reverend Desmond Jagger-Parsons officiating.
