Obituary of Dorothy Daniells

Dorothy Daniells

1910 - 2007
Passed away peacefully at KW Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on Tuesday June 12, 2007
She was the daughter of the late Herman Reiha and Otilla Madter of New Dundee. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert Daniells in 1981 and her sister Violet Hamel. Dorothy is survived by her sister Margaret Reid of Chatham, three nieces and one nephew, and her caring companion and friend Ralph Copley, who with her family and friends will miss her wonderful spirit and zest for life.
Dorothy had a deep abiding love and faith for her God and Church, St. Mathews Lutheran. Many tropical fish hobbyists in the KW and surrounding areas will fondly remember both Dorothy and her late husband Bob as owner/operators of Waterloo Aquariums on Bridgeport Road, Waterloo. Their knowledge of tropicals was considerable and they contributed much to the hobby and various related aquarium societies for a number of decades.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Dorothys life and faith will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 54 Benton Street, Kitchener on Friday June 15, 2007 at 11 am with Pastor Shirley Ruller officiating. A reception will follow immediately in the church fellowship hall. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg on Friday afternoon.
