Obituary of Gretrude Salzman

<h1>Gretrude "Gert" Salzman</h1> 1917 – 2009 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Lanark Place, Kitchener, at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Clifford in 2005; her parents Harry and Emma Knipfel (nee Gaukel) as well as her sisters Dorothy and Hilda Salzman and brothers Elmer and Harry Knipfel. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Alice Knipfel; brother and sister-in-law Marcel (Leon) and his wife Dorothy Salzman; extended family and a large circle of friends. Gertrude was a long time active member at Grace Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gert with her family during a visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday (today) July 6, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 7 at 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
