Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008 in her 94th year.
Beloved mother of son Uwe; daughter Ulrike, her husband Fred Rehse and their sons Peter and Eric; son Frank Eyke Harpe, his wife Mariette and their children Chantelle and Ryan; daughter Elke, her husband Richard Danziger and their children Jay, Rachel and Graham; and son Walter Harpe. Great Grandmother of Natasha, Katie and Liam.
Susanne was predeceased by her sea captain and much-loved husband Ulrich von Harpe as well as her son Uwe.
A longtime Waterloo resident, Susanne will be remembered as an active member of the artistÂ’s community. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her large extended family and her many friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Susanne's life and faith will be held on Friday, August 1st at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St., Waterloo. A luncheon will be hosted following the service. Interment to follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Wellesley.
