Obituary of George Petri

<h1>George Petri</h1> 1924 - 2007 Peacefully, at St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday July 28, 2007, with his family at his side. George Petri, age 82. Beloved husband of Katharina (nee Lurz) of 52 years. Loving father of Karin and Henry, and Betty and Rob. George will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tomas, Lukas, Nicole, and Leah. Predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Katharina, and by his brothers, Hans and Gerhard. Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday July 31, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate George’s life will be held at Christian Fellowship Church, 315 Northlake Drive, Waterloo on Wednesday August 1, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery.
