Margaret Kipfer
“Come unto me ye weary and I will give you rest” Responding to the call of the Lord, Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Saturday, July 24, 2010, and completed her life’s journey at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her parents Violet and Herbert Hartung, her cherished, loving husband Harold Leiskau, and son Jeffery. A member of Grace Lutheran Church, Margaret was the beloved mother of daughter Renée and son-in-law Rob Kennedy, loving grandmother to Serena, Cassandra and Cynthia and her eight adored great-grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by Jennifer Montague, her sister-in-law Joy Stuebing and her many nieces and nephews. Margaret touched our lives with her spirit and leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories to endure in the hearts of her family, friends, relatives and neighbours. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Special appreciation and thanks to Dr. Gokhale, Dr. Ward, nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and Pastor Korsch for their blessed support.
