1930-2007
Peacefully, in her sleep, at home, on Monday, July 23, 2007, at age 77.
Beloved wife of the late Earl Joseph Detzler (1975); loving mother of Larry, the late David (1981), Dennis and Dale, Carol and John Bambach, Brian and Helen, and Sue and Steve Steinfield; cherished Nana of Colin Detzler, Melissa and Chris Detzler, Matt and Sarah Detzler and Scott and Sara Steinfield; sister of Riley and Nena Hoddinott of River of Ponds, Newfoundland.
Rhoda was predeceased by her sisters, Violet, Ella, Estelle, Margaret, and Kathleen.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Rhoda with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. A morning prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St. W., Waterloo at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
