<h1>Lynne McDonald</h1> Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday July 21, 2010, after a year long struggle with gallbladder cancer. Cherished wife of John McDonald. Much loved mother of Jeffrey (Nadine), Jennifer, and Christopher (Kathleen). Dear daughter of Willa Rivett and sister of Michael Rivett of Goderich. Predeceased by her father Elliot Rivett. Lynne was born in Goderich on January 15, 1954. She graduated from Conestoga College as a Registered Nurse, and worked at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre as a psychiatric nurse before returning to Ontario to raise her family. She was an avid gardener and conservationist, and enjoyed knitting, quilting and many crafts. Following Lynne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lynne with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, July 24, from 2-5 p.m. Interment at Maitland Cemetery, Goderich.
