<h1>Ruby Draves</h1> 1919 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Ruby will be sadly missed by her two sons, Bryon of Waterloo and Wayne of New Hamburg; her three grandchildren, Rick (Jody), Tim and Christine (Kevin Wilson); and her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory, Geoffery, Camryn, Caitlin and Julia. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Soehner and her brother, Clinton Bauer. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ida Bauer; her beloved husband Harry John Draves; brothers, Henry, Vernon, Garfield and Clifford and Norman; sisters, Pearl, Dorothy and Henrietta; and her daughter-in-law Jean Draves (nee Reinhart). Ruby will be remembered as an avid gardener and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Day and the nurses of the 7th floor of St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Ruby. The funeral service will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
