<h1>Glenn Ament</h1> Passed away at his home in Waterloo on July 16, 2010 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Busch) for 53 years. Devoted father of Mark Ament and his wife, Nicole and Michele (Shelley) Newiger and her husband, Harry. Much loved “Pop” of Chantal and Alain Ament and Krista and Colin Newiger. Also survived by his sister, Myrna Ament-Bach; brother-in-law, the Rev. Arthur Busch; and sisters-in-law, Grace Strauss, Rita MacLean and her husband, Ted and Glady Martin-Berger and her husband, Ron. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Hilda Ament; brothers-in-law, William Bach, Jerome Strauss, Jerome Huber and Gus Martin; and by his sister-in-law, Ann Huber. Glenn was a longtime member of the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club and the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, Council 5135. In his spare time he loved to be in the outdoors and in the companionship of the family beagles. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, July 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Piotr Machnacki and Rev. Arthur Busch as celebrants. Reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall. A private family interment will be held in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later time.
