Passed away at United Mennonite Home, Vineland Ont., on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the age of 91.
Loving father of Walter. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his wife Hedwig (nee Krause) as well as his parents Dietrich Rempel and Anna (nee Wiens); brother, Dietrich and sisters, Herta Goossen and Rita Krueger.
Rudy worked for many years in the Tuck Shop at KW Hospital and also served on the Canadian Council of the Blind.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Rudy during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday July16 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at W-K United Mennonite Church, 15 George Street, Waterloo. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow the burial back at the church.
